Using Skype today I got a request for a friend from someone who had set the profile name for the account as Update Notice!
This is a registry hack. It asks you to go to a link and download the patch fix. If i was you i wouldn't even bother clicking on the link.

This annoyance may trascend IM platforms, and may have infected users from MSN, Yahoo mesenger aswel as skype and aol.

Be warned the Virus could be bad... if the patch is downloaded.

Someone has thought about this... so make sure you think about it before you click on any links. Even if you friend sends this message, it may simply mean that have been infected.
